Eco Fun Adventures is going into its 11th year of running boat trips in Puerto Peñasco. They offer exciting activities such as Whale Watching, Island Excursions, and more! The company and all of their captains are licensed and insured so you can enjoy a worry-free day on the boat!
The company began with Eco Fun 1, a boat that can hold over 100 people! Used for Sunset cruises and Whale Watching cruises, it quickly became a hit with tourists. It also makes a great boat for private party cruises. Manny’s Beach Club uses it for their “Shave the Whale” cruise.
A few years later they added the “Sol Chaser” which is a very comfortable catamaran, that they use for Whale Watching tours. This boat is faster so it can get out on the water to where the whales are much faster than the Eco Fun 1. It’s also used for Bird Island trips, where the guests can swim with the Sea Lions (during warmer seasons), kayak or boat around and enjoy the sun.
Capitan Luis has been in the fishing industry for over 30 years, with 6 years as a captain for the fishing boats. The next boat they added is the 26’ Especial Dos which is also used for fishing. The 28’ Wind Chaser is the boat they use for parasailing trips. Captain Abel has been doing boats for over 6 years, with 2 years as a Parasailing boat captain.
Tours & Information
Eco Fun Adventures does 3 hour Whale Watching tours when in season, which is during the warmer months. Additionally, they offer 2 hour-all day trips to Bird Island, 2-hour Sunset cruises, trips to the Pinacate Biosphere. Further, they have Splash Cruises that last for 1 ½ hours, Deep Sea fishing charters that can go out to the 50 mile reef, Parasailing adventures, private cruises and a 5-hour city tour. As one of the largest tour companies in Rocky Point, they have plenty of activities to offer.
All tours and activities are reasonable priced and family-friendly. No matter what trip you take, you will be escorted by a group of Dolphins for your entertainment. This makes for a super fun start to the activity for all!
If you are going fishing, all equipment and licenses are provide with your ticket. All of the boats go out of the south side of the harbor where the Intrepid is moored.
